Day-by-Day Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Pick-up at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to your budget hotel in Arusha. Meet your guide for a safari briefing and rest for the night.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). Game drive through baobab-studded landscapes with elephants, lions, and zebras. Picnic lunch inside the park. Evening at camp.
Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
Leave early and drive to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro highlands (approx. 5–6 hours). Afternoon game drive in the Seronera area, home to big cats and herds of wildebeest.
Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Spend the day exploring Serengeti’s vast plains. Look out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants. Optional hot air balloon safari (extra cost) at sunrise.
Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at Olduvai Gorge (optional) and arrive at your camp on the crater rim.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Departure
Early descent into the crater for a half-day game drive. Picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool. Afterward, drive back to Arusha (approx. 4–5 hours) for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
